About Madison

Hello! My name is Madison Hyowon Chi, and I was born on April 15, 2010, in Los Angeles, California. I've been exploring my passions ever since! I am currently residing in Seoul, South Korea, with my loving family.

I have two wonderful sisters: Sophia, who is two years older than me, and Catherine, who is 10 years younger. Having two sisters can be annoying but in the end they are my closest buddies.  Both of my parents are incredibly supportive and thoughtful. I have never met anyone who works harder than they do. They are my greatest inspirations and the people I look up to the most!

I am currently attending California Online Public Schools, an online school based in California. Its flexibility allows me to pursue my interests and hobbies while staying on top of my academics. I truly appreciate my teachers for their guidance and hard work—they inspire me every day.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and the flute. I also have a big passion in singing.

Leadership is one of my greatest strengths, as I was a part of the student council for four years, from 3rd to 6th grade, at Gaeil Elementary School in Seoul. When most people think about being a leader, they might think of being bossy or laid back . However, I believe true leadership is about serving others with a loving and caring heart. I find that having a heart for others and showing genuine care truly makes you a person of great value and integrity. The act of caring and serving others would truly make myself Madison.
